Empowering Wahine Māori Leadership

Huihuiunga Wāhine is the Annual Māori Women's Leadership Summit - hosted by the Federation of Māori Authorities.
We aim to provide a space that empowers wahine māori leadership across different industries & regions throughout Aotearoa.

We know that plans can change. Whānau, work, and other commitments don’t always work around an event date. These policies set out what happens if you need to cancel, transfer, or pay for your registration.

Cancellation Policy:

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as you can, so your place can go to someone on the waitlist.

• 14 days or more before the event: full refund of your registration fee (excluding the card/payment processing fee)
• If FOMA needs to cancel or significantly change the event (e.g. due to circumstances beyond our control), you’ll receive a full refund

To cancel or transfer a registration, email registrations@hpce.co.nz with your name, registration details, and (if transferring) who’s taking your place.

Payment Policy:

Registration is confirmed once payment is received

• Card payment: pay by credit card at the time of registration to confirm your place immediately
• Invoice: if you’d prefer to be invoiced, payment is due within 7 days of the invoice being issued or before the event, whichever comes first.

 

Entry is subject to payment being received. If payment hasn’t cleared by the start of the event, we won’t be able to let you in on the day, so if a due date is tight, please contact registrations@hpce.co.nz as early as possible and we’ll do our best to work something out with you.

This years Venue Te Wharewaka o Pōneke is an award-winning multipurpose function centre and waka house Te Raukura, Te Wharewaka o Pōneke is located on Wellingtons waterfront is within close proximity to top hotel accommodation and parking.

‘Te Raukura’ was opened on Waitangi Day 6 February 2011 and is of special significance to descendants from Te Ātiawa/Taranaki iwi katoa re-establishing a physical Māori presence not seen on the waterfront since 1880’s.
