Information Presentation & Discussion – Climate Change | on farm emissions
Nau mai, Haere mai
FOMA Te Aukaha is inviting you to a presentation and discussion session on He Waka Eke Noa
He Waka Eke Noa is the five year programme that will empower farmers and growers to measure, manage and reduce on-farm emissions; recognise, maintain or increase integrated sequestration on farms; and adapt to changing climate.
By December 2022
- 100% of our farms know their annual total on-farm greenhouse gas emissions
- 100% of our farms have a written plan in place to measure and manage their emissions
FOMA Te Aukaha will host five online webinar sessions over the first two weeks in March.
We encourage you to attend one of these sessions. The update and the information shared is import for you as Māori landowners/farmers and growers, as are your thoughts and views on the pricing recommendation options that will be presented. Our collective discussions will inform our viewpoint as a partner within He Waka Eke Noa.
